Over 174 people attended the Valley County Democratic Picnic on the evening of August 22. All the local and statewide candidates attended and spoke. We also had a very successful pie auction. Larry LaRocco, former Congressman for Idaho  was a our auctioneer and John Schott was his assistant. Bill Thomas, Chair of the Valley County Democrats was M.C. Luke Henken, Idaho Democratic Party Development Director spoke about the role of the party in supporting candidates. 

Our local and statewide candidates spoke to the gathering: Paulette Jordon, Governor ; Kristin Collum, Lt. Governor; Dave Bingaman, Valley County Commissioner; Jon Glick, Idaho House District 8A; Christian McNeil, Congress; Cindy Wilson, Superintendent of Schools and Jill Humble, Secretary of State.
