Laura is a retired physician, whose mother and aunt were teachers and daughter currently teaches special education. Laura is ready to bring her management skills honed on American Red Cross healthcare teams to support teachers and promote quality education. Local entrepreneur Kelly Miller brings business and management skills enhanced by service as a past member of the Shepherd’s Home Board and a current board member of the West Central Mountains Housing Trust. Kelly hopes to bring a “Common Sense and Common Ground” approach to the MDSD Board.
